I love this app on my iPhone so I decided to get one on my MBP (15’’ with Retina Display). After a couple of months, I found many of those wallpapers do not have enough resolution for retina display. Wish the image quality was higher though…

If you love wallpapers as much as I do then this app will do you some good, amazing!

Im a creative person. Its vital to constantly feed my inspiration from what our world offers us. I found this app in hopes of finding a decent background, and boy did I stumble upon a jewel!! This app is packed with amazing images that are so detailed and crystal clear…my search has ended for desktop backgrounds now that I have purchased this! This is well worth the $3.99 just from a few images they offer! 5 Stars!

The clarity of the Retina display along side with the outstanding wallpapers make this a must have. HOWEVER, the continuous requests to rate the app has a behavior similar to adware. Allow me to be clear, I’m not stating this is a malicious app but I am saying the hounding for a rating is annoying ESPECIALLY WITH A PAID APP!! Asking for a review once a week would be acceptable. Asking for a review twice an hour is harassment.

Never buy this app! there is no wallpaper at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the new Macbook and the images aren’t grainy or blury by any means, but it is certainly not as crisp as it should be for paying $3. They just don’t look as nice as the stock background images Apple provides. It is also super slow on this Macbook (even without the animation) which is odd because it’s just downloading images, right? I could be wrong, but yes, my Macbook froze as soon as I tried to open it. After a restart it didn’t freeze, but it was very slow. I will try to get a refund.

well the wallpapers are good quality but the “animation” which does nothing is stupid i want my money back!

how do I get rid of the clock thats in the middle of my screen.. I updated this app and a clock appeared in the middle of the screen.. there are no settings ? othewise this is a beautiful app.

i love it ! amazing pictures, i get bored easily with my wallpapers, but these images are so vibrant, so beautiful, i just love them all !!! think i’ll change my wallpaper daily !

Pros #1. The images are stunning and beautiful. #2. The user interface elegant. #3. Very inexpensive Con’s #1. The app will not rotate desktop pictures on multiple screens. Only rotates on one screen, while the other remains static. However I can manipulate which screen rotates and which one doesn’t. #2. To rotate images, the app must remail open (in the dock). It would be nice if it worked in the background and we had the option of having a menu bar icon instead. Like their other app Weather Live. #3. When you change the static image manually, it turns off the rotation feature. You have to remember to go back and turn the feature back on via the preferences contextual menu. Looking forward to these improvements. I would be able to give it 5 stars when they do.

I wish I had purchased this app earlier. Great pictutres and the animated. If you do not have it, get it. I wish there was a way to make suggestions on new pics.

PLEASE try this! They have a free version. Try that first—but be aware you can only save, I think it’s maybe 5 wallpapers to your favorites per day—(Don’t quote me on that!) I tried it for almost a month…but I’m one of those people who—well, I change it in the morning to something light and happy—or whatever my mood happens to be at the time. :-/ Then I change it again at night; usually to something dark so it doesn’t bother my hubby who is usually asleep before me because he has to be at work at 4:00am! Yikes! The Retina, high-end HD wallpapers are GORGEOUS!!! Btw, I very rarely actually ‘write’ a review. I’m lazy—I usually just rate by the stars. But this app, " Pimp Your Screen" deserves more than just 5 stars! I upgraded to Pro last month. There wasn’t a price cut then so I paid full price—still worth it! But now they’ve taken 30% off now, so try the free real quick, then upgrade if you like/love it…..that’s my advice, anyways! Either way, it’s only a few dollars. I think that you will really surprised that such a unique, high-quality app, is so inexpensive!!! You’re gonna love it! :-)) LoriAnn

nothing different from the fee app, same amount of animated clocks, same wall papers, the description makes it sound like it would be an upgrade from the fee version. nice app, but if you are going to charge an upgrade fee the least you can do is upgrade the app too, why bother spending 1.99 if you get the same as the fee app version??????

Only chnages your screen backgrounds but doesn’t give you any way to save the pictures. So if you dont have an intenet connection, like is often on my MacBook Pro, the application is useless! It’s a ripoff! Don’t bother buying it and just use the free one. If I had known that you couldn’t save pictures, i would not have bought it! What a waste of money!

I love the app but since before christmas when i open the app it does not update with the new wallpapers…the newest wallpaper that it shows me is the christmas one with hearts….why am i not getting any new wallpapers??????/
